Multinational Air Exercise ACES meet 2017 Concludes in Pakistan

LAHORE – The multinational exercise ‘ACES Meet 2017’ involving the air forces of a total of eight countries concluded at an unannounced operational base in Pakistan on Saturday.

Contingents of the Royal Saudi Air Force and Turkish Air force also took part in the two-week-long endeavour which began on October 16, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman flew a Saudi F15 on the last mission of the joint exercise before the concluding ceremony.

“We are taking Pakistan Air Force to new heights,” said the air chief, adding that the current global security situation coupled with the changing dynamics of warfare calls for enhanced partnership among armed forces.

“PAF ACE was established as a strategic initiative to develop a unique institution to share with friendly air forces the rare experiences PAF has gained in counter terrorism operations,” he explained.
